• What makes you unique from other players at your position?

I can shoot off the dribble, good court vison, high basketball IQ, and can create shots for myself.

• Strengths and areas you are improving in?

I am improving my ball handling and my mid range shot.  My court vision has also improved.

• How did the offseason go?

The offseason went well.  I just came off of football season, which was great conditioning.  I started going to the weight room more often and making myself bigger.

• Goals for the upcoming season?

I  want to put my school on the map and really make an impact.

• What role do you see your self having this year for your team?

I see myself being a spot up shooter and always picking my teammates up.  I always try to make the right play.

• What will a coach be getting out of you at the next level?

Coach will be getting a hard working kid who loves the game of basketball.  I’ll go out and give 110% every possession.

• What will will go into your decision about choosing a college?

Definitely how far it is from my family.

• Most influential person in your life? Why?

My dad because he was the first person to show me the game.  He really made me love it.  I learn all my moves from him and he always motivates me to do better.

• Legacy you want to leave at your school?

I want people to think of me and my team when they think of “Gabriel Richard.” I want to leave a winning tradition and really make an impact.

• Where do you see yourself in 15 years?

• Most memorable game in your career so far?

8th grade year at the lebron James shooting stars classic having a double-double 26 points 11 assist on the Ohio Heat.

• Colleges that you would like to attend?

Ohio State, U of M, Duke.

• Colleges that have shown interest in you so far?

I’ve got a letter from U of D.

• What makes you unique from other players at your position?

I see the floor well, strong with hands, high basketball IQ, and a great rebounder.

• Strengths and areas you are improving in?

Ball Handling, Finishing at the rim and court vision is my biggest strengths. I’m really working on being more consistent with my 3 point shot.

• How did the offseason go?

I really have no off season.  I was in the gym almost every day or in the weight room.  I also traveled to Indiana for AYBTS (American Youth Basketball Tournaments) nationals I played very good.

• Goals for the upcoming season?

My goal for the upcoming season is to develop as an athlete and a leader on and off the floor.  Another goal is to lead my team to a state championship

• What role do you see yourself having this year for your team?

The role I see myself having this year is floor general.  I look to make my teammates better.  I will do this by being a threat to the other team so it can open up to my teammates to score and make plays.  I also want to be more vocal leader on defense and offense because that’s what great players and point guards do

• What will a coach be getting out of you at the next level?

Someone who puts in the extra work and who works hard.  Coach will also get a leader not only on court but off court too and a good decision maker as well.  He will also be getting a player who takes criticism also a player who has a desire to win so whatever I have to do to win I’m whiling to do it

• What will go into your decision about choosing a college?

My relationship with the coach, the fan base, and the type of offense they run.

• Most influential person in your life? Why?

My older brother is the most influential person in my life. He taught me how t play basketball. He pushes me every day to become better basketball player.  My brother will be intending college for basketball next year and I’m going to follow in his footsteps.  My brother is the constant push in my life.

• Legacy you want to leave at your school?

I want to leave a winning legacy at my school.  I want people to remember me not only as an athlete but a hardworking student who does not take failure for as an option.

• Where do you see yourself in 15 years?

I see Myself Playing In the NBA
